Dearest Guest Reviews: Real Weddings, Real Numbers (2026)

Honest Dearest Guest review page from the founder: verifiable delivery numbers, a named real wedding with its full message timeline, real guest replies, and pricing.

You searched for Dearest Guest reviews, which means you are doing exactly what you should do before trusting anyone with your wedding weekend. Healthy skepticism deserves a straight answer, so here is one, written by me, the founder, with the obvious disclosure attached: this page lives on our own site. I cannot be your neutral source. What I can do is give you things you can verify, name real weddings with permission, and correct a couple of false claims floating around, so you can judge for yourself.

The numbers first

As of July 2026:

  • Over 4,500 messages delivered to real wedding guests, a counter you can watch tick on our homepage
  • Eleven weddings run end to end, from save-the-dates through thank-you texts
  • The largest single wedding: 113 guests and 1,599 individual texts over three weeks, with zero delivery failures
  • Every message on every one of those weddings was read by me before it sent

Eleven weddings is not a huge number, and I am not going to pretend otherwise. It is the number of a young, founder-run service where every couple gets my personal attention. If you want a platform that has processed a million weddings and will never know your name, that exists, and it is not us. If you want the person who built the system reading your shuttle text before it goes out, that is exactly us.

A wedding you can check

Emily and Josef married on June 5, 2026 at the Etereo resort on the Riviera Maya, with 113 guests flying in. They gave permission to publish their names and their real messages, so we did: their complete message timeline is here, from the first save-this-number text to the thirty-minute welcome party nudge. 1,599 texts. Every one opened with the guest's own name. Not one failed to arrive.

That post exists because "trust us" is weak and showing you an actual wedding is strong.

What couples say

"Everybody knew where to be at what time, and we didn't have any hiccups."

Kate, Sleepy Hollow Inn, Vermont, September 2025. "No hiccups" is the entire product in two words. Nobody hires a wedding texting service to feel excited about texting. They hire it so that on the day, nothing goes wrong quietly.

What guests text back

The reviews I trust most come from the other side of the messages, because guests have no reason to be polite to a software company. Real replies from real guest phones:

"Loved 'Hi Maya! Tonight's welcome reception begins at 6:00pm on the rooftop...'"

"Best wedding celebration ever. Thanks for including us!!"

"Can't wait!!!!!!"

That first one matters most to me. The guest is quoting her own text back, with her own name in it, because it felt like the couple wrote to her personally. That is what per-guest personalization does, and it is the difference between guest messaging and a broadcast.

Correcting the record

A competitor's comparison page currently claims Dearest Guest has no personalization and does not collect guest replies. Both claims are false, and verifiably so:

  • Personalization: every text opens with each guest's own name, automatically, on every message in the timeline. The Emily and Josef post shows it 1,599 times.
  • Replies: guests reply to any message, replies are collected in the couple's dashboard, and a daily email digest makes sure nothing sits unseen. Reply forwarding is available too. The guest quotes above are, literally, collected replies.

I get that comparison pages are marketing. Ours are too. But we quote competitors' own public pages, write "not stated" when we do not know something, and link primary sources. You deserve the same standard everywhere you research.

What it costs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Dearest Guest legit?

Yes. Dearest Guest is operated by Cloudybook Inc., payments run through Stripe, messages deliver through Twilio's carrier network, and you can see a real named wedding with its full message history here. You are also welcome to text us any question before paying; a human answers.

How long have you been around?

We are young and we say so: eleven weddings as of mid-2026, founder-run, in active weekly development. What you trade in track-record length you get back in attention. I personally review every message on every wedding, which is a promise no large platform can make.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Three layers. I read every message before it sends, so most problems die before they exist. Delivery is monitored, so nothing fails silently. And we guarantee your messages get delivered, backed by a refund policy up to 14 days before your wedding. Your wedding weekend gets no do-overs, so we act like it.

Where can I ask questions before buying?

Right on the site, or by replying to any message once you have started a plan. Support is a text away and it is usually me answering. If you want to hear it from a couple instead, take the quiz, look at the plan we build, and decide with the whole picture in front of you.
